North Korea: Kim Jong-un In Insult, Rocket Attack to US is Inevitable
The North Korean government said its rocket attacks across the United States could not escape after President Donald Trump insulted Pyongyang leader Kim Jong-un. Trump has teased Kim as "rocket man" who will run a suicide mission.
"The humiliation made by President Donald Trump against the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, made our rocket visit to the entire US continent inevitable," Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told the UN General Assembly on Saturday. .
Sanctions, he said, would not shift Pyongyang's determination to develop nuclear weapons and missiles that are "an inch away".
North Korea's main goal is to achieve a strategic balance of power with the United States.
"Through such a long and difficult struggle, we are now finally only a few steps from the last gate of nuclear power settlement," he added to the UN General Assembly.
Ri overturns Donald Trump's bluff calling on Kim to run a suicide mission if it attacks the US and its allies. "Trump himself is on a mission of suicide," said Ri.
