Choke On That!

You know that phrase attributed to male masturbation - choking the chicken. Well, i’m going to be making it about the planet earth. Think about it. Because that’s kinda what we,the human race, are doing to Earth. Continually. It’s like one great big masturbation fest since the great industrial age. And we have the giant blisters to slalom round to show for it. And by blisters, i mean the growing deserts and barren farmland that is spreading across the once beautiful mother earth. We are the pimp, handing round mother earth all and sundry who wants a piece or three of her. And mostly, all for free. There she is dancing round the stripper pole with sagging boobs and bum, and old,white men with sagging skin and limp dicks, are dribbling and ogling her and wondering how they can much more they can get out of her. But it’s not our fault,right? It’s never been the human races fault. Right?

Where's the carbon dioxide alarm for the planet Earth?  You know, the ones we humans have in our own homes, that tell us if the silent but deadly toxic fumes are leaking. Oh yeah, it's us. Us humans. And the batteries ran out long ago cos we are the shittiest alarm ever. Why? ‘cos we really can't make up minds if the toxic fumes are killing the planet or not. And we can't decide if those who went to find out about these fumes are actually telling the truth. Hell, are we even positive they’re lying, or have they spent so much time breathing the damn fumes that they’re off on some magical ride to Narnia and don’t know what they’re even saying? Either way, what the fuck are we waiting for? Death of not only the human race, but planet Earth? Hasn't anyone realized that there IS NO PLANET B?!!!!

So how do we combat this? Well, one way is make the UK more reliable on renewable energy. You know, like Scotland is doing. But down here in the UK, they are doing everything possible to scupper any plan to make a change for the better. 

Another way, is for all of us to get their heads out from fat asses and actually DO something about it. Sadly in this day and age it is not good enough to just take out the packaging from your last chinese or italian take out, and say that you are doing your bit. It’s not enough to charge people for plastic bags. People will still  use them. Some will even use them for some damn kinky means. You sick sick people you, but each to their own. And it's not enough to say you’ll ban plastic straws or wet wipes by such and such year. If you are going to change anything, instead of hoping that Harry Potter will wave his magic wand and make everything alright, then you really need to start now. Today. Right this very minute. And there are MANY ways to do this. From recycling to building wind farms. From protesting banks to divest from fossil fuels to solar panels on houses.And fuck the nimbys too. These namby-pamby folk who want to help save the planet, as long as it doesn't affect their view out to sea or the countryside. This planet has a finite number of resources, and once they are gone. It’s game over. Do not pass go. And do not collect £200.

Basically the human race has a choice. To at least admit that we fucked up as a race and we are the ones helping to kill planet earth,get our heads out from arses and we do all we can about it or…...we die off and let Mother Earth recover and start again. As the legendary comic George Carlin once said “The planet is fine. The people are fucked.”
