Passport Removed, Zakir Lecturer Gets No Citizenship

Zakir Naik is reported to have traveled to Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries after leaving India last year. According to the authorities, with the revocation of his passport will clearly limit his movement.

Assistant passport officer at Mumbai immigration wrote a letter to Zaik Up on July 3, so she would meet her on weekdays between 10:00 am and 12:30 pm within 10 days, carrying her passport dated January 20, 2016.

"Failing to hand over passports forced us to take the necessary action under the 1967 Immigration Act," the official said.

Zakir Naik left India on May 13 last year. After he ignored the summons, the Indian government reportedly asked Interpol to issue a 'red notice' against the cleric.

The NIA has collected evidence to support the foundations of Zakir, the Islamic Research Foundation and Peace TV allegedly used to promote hatred between religions.

The Indian government has banned its foundation also stopping the Peace TV show.

During the investigation, NIA claimed to have found 37 property of Zakir Naik and a number of companies with millions of dollars worth.

Previously, Zair Naik had delivered lectures in several cities in Indonesia, including Yogyakarta and Bekasi.

The famous Indian Dai also appeared in a photo with the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI), Rizieq Shihab who was in Saudi Arabia.
