POLISHED CONCRETE IS THE FUTURE

Polished concrete floors haven’t been around that long, but continue to become more popular as the years go on. Polished concrete has a high glossy, almost mirror finish. It is made possible with walk behind grinders using metal bonded diamonds, densifier, and then resin bonded diamonds. Polished concrete is the future of flooring because it is durable, cost effective, and environment friendly.

The durability of polished of concrete is amazing. Being scratch resistant, it is great for pets. After the densifier is applied to the concrete, the concrete becomes much harder which makes it a much tougher floor than most others.

The cost effectiveness of polished concrete is rediculous! Usually running around 4-8 (USD) per square foot. Companies are able to do it for cheap because they don’t have to purchase much new materials, being that they already have the walk behind grinders that can be used again and again, as long as you purchase new diamonds, which gets to my next point.

The environment friendly aspect of polished concrete is interesting. Polished concrete cuts cooling costs because it is allowed to breathe rather than any other floor. Polished concrete can also last decades upon decades as long as it is upkept. Polished concrete is the way to go.
