To Serve & and Protect

Regarding the Arizona hotel shooting.

The motto "to serve and protect" is just that, a motto. The reality is the Supreme Court has found multiple times that police are under no obligation to protect any citizen. The question becomes, who do they "serve and protect"? Government interest.

In a week, this poor guy will be forgotten, and cops will shoot another innocent (under law) civilian and the media will write it off as a strange event, as if has never happened before.
