Police report

Hi, my name is Ghaith Tinawi. I'm 20 years old Syrian living in Saudi Arabia. I drive a Corolla 2013. I got hit from a driver driving at around approx. 130 km (80 mi) from the left side and my car skid of the road while I was driving at around 110 km (~68 mi) and I hit the wall hard, the driver ran away I couldn't see the plate number. I got injured in my back nothing really serious just a back spasm, dizziness and nausea due to the shock. I recovered thank god, no blood no stitches no surgery. Since it was a hit and run and Saudi Arabia isn't as advanced as the media shows the police said we cannot see the cameras on the road "the footage is not saved we only use them for traffic" Unfortunately, my insurance did not cover the accident because it is something called "Liability coverage" I really don't know what it is called in English, but the insurance only covers fixing the other vehicle if I'm the one mistaken, and if I'm not mistaken which in this case I'm not they told me that the other vehicle should be responsible for fixing you vehicle not us even if he ran away.

I have a proof from the police report that I’m 0% responsible.

Unfortunately, I just accepted the fact that the insurance will not fix my car and I have to fix it from my pocket. My parents are financially unstable, and my father lost his job due to the pandemic. My father tried to help cover the expenses as much as he can.

I drive this car to drop my sister off at her work and for me to work as a delivery guy. I also drive my mother and small sisters. It's basically the family car.

Since working in Saudi Arabia requires a Sponsor, I'm currently illegal to work due to strict rules for foreigners in Saudi Arabia. Even working as a cashier in a restaurant requires a sponsor and 1-year contract and I cannot do that because I won't have enough time for my studies. (These facts can be found on google if you require further proof)

I can only work as a delivery guy and I make per delivery approx. 20 SAR ($ 5.066) average I use an app exclusive for KSA named MRSOOL and I can provide a screenshot of my profile there for authenticity.

As you can see here my total revenue over 180 orders 3432.2 SAR ( $ 915.253) most of my revenues went to fixing the car.

I could only afford a few parts which were essential just to drive the car, but I couldn't afford 2 parts and the body shop labor.

I went to the mechanic and told me to get several parts:

2 front shock absorbers (Bought these new aftermarkets for 450 SAR ($ 120)

2 front brake pads (OEM 190 SAR ($ 50.6)

1 left front lower arm (OEM 400 SAR ($ 106.66)

1 left brake caliper, disc, wheel hub, axle (I found this from a salvage place for 800 SAR ($ 213.33)

1 washer fluid tank (found from salvage for 50 SAR ($ 13.33)

1 Alloy Wheel (found from salvage 100 SAR ($ 26.66)

1 Back Crossmember (Found from salvage 1100 SAR ($ 293.33)

1 left back brake caliper, disc, wheel hub (OEM 525 SAR ($ 140)

1 Front bumper (Aftermarket 100 SAR ($ 26.66)

1 left mirror (Aftermarket 100 SAR ($ 26.66)

1 Left Light (75 SAR ($ 20)

Total 3890 SAR ($ 1037.33)

Labor: 1150 SAR ($ 306.66)

Total Cost (5039 SAR) ($ 1,343.99)

These were the parts I was able to afford. I took the car from the workshop because I couldn't afford the remaining parts. The car drives but the wheels move randomly right and left which is extremely dangerous, and since there is no headlights it is illegal to drive the car without lights. I cannot install the lights without buying a bumper with mounts and fender.

The parts that I need for finish fixing the car:

1 Steering Gear (OEM costs 1250 SAR ($ 333.33) (This part is extremely important)

1 Front Bumper (The one I got which is after market doesn't fit correctly so the mechanic suggested I get OEM 400 SAR ($ 106.66)

1 Back Bumper with sensors (OEM 620 SAR ($ 165.33)

1 left fender (OEM 400 SAR ($ 106.66)

2 Front Bumper mounts (220 SAR ($ 58.66) OEM

2 Back Bumper mounts (220 SAR ($ 58.66) OEM

1 Lower Bumper Net (220 SAR ($ 58.66) OEM

1 Front left Light (OEM 680 SAR ($ 181.33)

Total price for parts: 4,010 SAR ($ 1,069.33)

1 A/C Compressor (OEM 2600 SAR ($ 693.33) (This part is not required I can live without an air conditioner)

Body shop Labor 1300 SAR ($ 346.66)

Mechanic Labor 1000 SAR ($ 266.66)

Total fund: 6,310 SAR ($ 1,682.66)

With A/C compressor 8910 SAR ($ 2,376)

I've been through a lot to get this money I've taken loans just to cover the expenses my father helped me and my brother helped me, but I really cannot afford the remaining required parts to finish the car completely. This is my first fundraiser and it is really important to me. I'm trying to work a small job just to cover my daily expenses and I didn't get a single riyal ($ 0.27) in the past 2 weeks. I've gotten in this accident 3/12/2020 9:12 AM after I dropped my sister to her work and I've spent nearly 2 weeks to get some money and finding parts suitable for my budget.

I believe the amount required to fix the car is high, but I really don’t have that much money. As a foreigner I don’t have the same rights as a Saudi. I’m asking for any help I can get. I really want to thank everyone that supported me financially.

I hope I could raise enough money before the end of the month because my fix permit is only available for a month

Thank you <3

I can provide anything needed for authenticity, my passport, receipts although they are in Arabic, driver license, fix permit, etc.
