Law Enforcement is Not Security

I usually do not like being pulled over or even interacting with police, not because I have something to hide but you never know what officer your gonna get. Obviously not every officer of the law is evil, there are those people that actually want to protect the people in there community and they do so without beating down others, and acting like they are the ones with power. The government has a monopoly in the law enforcement industry, which means these officers do questionable things without question. People have a different view to questionable acts, but I think most can agree Law Enforcement have done some immoral things. Law Enforcement Action Partnership (LEAP) is an organization formed by 5 officers that were against the war on drugs and seen that it was an utter failure and it is also immoral. Now we have good officers that actually want to protect and serve instead of harm and destroy leaving the force, leaving us with the ones who just "follow orders" This post is not a war on cops, but a war on bad cops I follow a man on youtube named NewsNowHouston a first amendment auditor who is all about exposing bad cops. As we know bad cops get good cops killed, it needs to stop. We need to look at the cause of these bad cops, and a main problem is big government, when government grows so do the laws. If a cop shuts down a kids lemonade stand people may want to blame the cop, but what we should blame is the law that that cop was enforcing. The reason law enforcement was created was to enforce the law and the law was supposed to protect our rights and our property. With ever growing government the laws are now more then to protect life, liberty, and property and few laws that can go as an example to how they dont protect anyones life, liberty, or property is well shutting down a lemonade stand, collecting rain water on your property or anywhere for that matter, and prohibiting someone from putting drugs in there own body. The best solution to this problem is to get back to laws that protect the life, liberty, and property and that is all to do this we also need to make government a hell of a lot smaller!
