What is The Steem Poker League?
For those out of "the know," the Steem Poker League plays on Lucksacks.com 24/7 with players from all over the world. Games available include: Limit and No Limit Hold'em, Pot Limit and No Limit Omaha (and NL Omaha HiLo), Limit Stud, and H.O.R.S.E. You can play in Daily and Weekly Freeroll Tournaments with up to 50SBD in prizes per tournament, Sit & Go tourneys where you can win entry tickets into some of the Freeroll tournaments (which would otherwise cost play chips. More on those in a minute), and Ring Games where you can wager your play chips against other players or take on the Bots to prove supremacy over Artificial Intelligence!
Play Chips on Lucksacks.com
While all poker on Lucksacks is free to play, unfortunately due to people gaming the system they've had to implement a play chip system. This means you get 1000 free play chips per week with which you can enter the various tournaments, Sit & Go's, and Ring Games. Once your play chips run out, you are SOL until you can reload at the end of the week. Out of luck, that is, unless you can win more play chips by either: placing in the money in a tournament, winning more in Sit & Go games like the 100 chip Double or Nothing (pay 100 chips to get in and either win 100 or lose your chips), or accumulating more in the Ring Games!
Another way you can enter tourneys without having to pay chips is by winning a Satellite Ticket. In the Sit & Go section on Lucksacks.com you can play Satellite Tournaments that reward winners with Tickets that get them free entry into Freeroll Tournaments.
