There is an organization called the Steem Poker League. They have built a website called Lucksacks. If you are familiar with other online poker sites, then navigation here should be second nature. What makes them different, is their tournaments and games are paid out in SBD. How cool is that?

Since we have several members in #thealliance that play themselves and we LOVE the fact that they GIVE AWAY FREE SBD in their freeroll tournaments, we figured we'd hop the proverbial 'bandwagon' and sponsor a tournament ourselves. It will be a No Limit Hold 'Em freeroll tournament, meaning you don't have to pay to play. The only requirement is that you have an account on both Steemit and Lucksacks that are linked together. There will be a mirror post of this from the @syndicates to generate a prize pool. All SBD generated from this post and on that one, will be donated as prize pool monies.

Yes! Similar to @killerwhale giving away SBD in contests, we will be giving away SBD for the place winners in the tournaments. We have several members, as I said that play there already. @rahavongal, who introduced @enginewitty (an allied witness) to the site. There, he met several other people like @bethalea and @nicnas. Turns out that quite a few allies played over like @reko, @lpessin, @investwarrior and even newer members like @potplucker & @jpederson96. @reko and @enginewitty have been wanting to do this for awhile, and now the time is here!
