Multitasker Championship in the SPL Coming May 5: Here’s How it Works
On May 5, 2018, three things will happen:
1. Cinco De Mayo
2. The 144th Kentucky Derby
3. You Pick It Poker Tournament #5 in the SPL
At 7 PM Central, we will be playing a unique tournament, which I call the Multitasker Championship. I wanted to write this post to help boost the prize pool (your upvotes fund the tournament!) and explain this tournament for anyone who wants to play. This is a freeroll and anyone registered in the SPL on Lucksacks.com is welcome to register and play.
What is the Multitasker Championship?
As the name suggests, to win the Multitasker Championship, you have to be able to play multiple poker games at once, which can be very difficult. For the Mutitasker Championship, 3 tournaments will all start at the exact same time.
How is the Winner Decided?
The Multitasker Poker Champion of the World will be decided by the player who has the lower combined finish in all three tournaments. For example, if you finish 4th, 3rd, and 10th in the three tournaments, your total score will be 17. The lowest score wins the championship.
Prize Pool Breakdown
20% of the prize pool will go towards each of the three tournaments, with only the top 4 in each getting a portion of the prize pool.
40% of the total prize pool will go to the single winner of the Multitasker Championship.
The Tournaments
The three tournaments will be:
1. No Limit Omaha Hi Low
2. Pot Limit Omaha
3. Mixed Game: NLH, Stud Hi-Low, Razz
