PokerStars continues to offer new game formats one by one this year. If in 2017 the room added only "magic" Power UP in the lobby, in 2018 players were able to try out three new games: Split Holdem, Spin&Goal and Showtime. Another one-Fusion-should come to replace Showtime this week.
However, it became known that this is not all! Another format called Unfold players are likely to see in the Starz lobby this year. The fact that there is a development of a new format, users of the room learned a proven way — studied the folders of the poker client for the game of wrappers after the next update. One of them was found in the files tables for the new format.
What will be the" highlight " Unfold, we do not know for sure. But according to its name and logo it is already possible to make preliminary assumptions. The arrow instead of the Latin " O " can mean the return of something. When combined with" fold " in the title, this may mean that players will have the opportunity to reclaim discarded cards during the hand.
However, the implementation of such mechanics will almost always say that the player has a very strong hand, when, for example, on the 727 flop he returns his cards. As will be hidden so the readability of the actions of the players, is unclear. Perhaps PokerStars could find some solution to this problem. Then it should be simple, so as not to complicate the game with additional rules. After all, all new formats are created, first of all, for Amateur players.
