Do You Live in the U.S.? You Might Want to Give GlobalPoker.com a Try!

in #poker7 years ago

First, I'm in no way affiliated with GlobalPoker.com. This is my personal opinion of their online poker room.

For those of you who live in the United States (and not in one of the few states at regulate online poker), you know that finding a reputable place to play with a decent player pool and timely withdrawals is a drag. Well, I was an Ignition Casino Poker regular for the past couple of years, but their software stability issues (lag, disconnects, etc.) caused me to finally pull all my money off there and find a new poker home. You can watch why I say goodbye to Ignition Casino Poker in the video below:

After I posted the above video, I asked people to recommend places to play and GlobalPoker.com was recommended, so I thought I'd check it out. Low and behold, they have an office in San Francisco, CA, are legal in the United States, and allow you to quickly deposit and withdrawal via PayPal...that means no more dealing with bitcoin wallets or international checks...yayyy!!! Anyways, I decided to create a video with my first impressions and share it with you all - which you can watch below:

I hope you enjoyed these videos and also found them insightful. Hope to "not" see you on GlobalPoker.com if you're a poker shark...just kidding. :-)

Interesting! I didn't realize online poker was legal in the US. Looks like it has something to do with their "sweepstakes" model. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah - online poker that involves gambling with your own money deposited on a poker site is only legal in a few states. Global Poker's sweepstakes model gets them around that - what's really awesome for them is that they say they patented the process so no other online poker sites can use it (unless they license it for $). I feel safe putting my money on there since they have an office in San Francisco, CA and process deposits and withdrawals via PayPal - with lots of people on 2+2 having no issues getting their money.
