In Pokemon Sun and Moon Episode 42 Preview, Ash returns to Kanto. Basically, he returns to his hometown, Pallet Town. It seems that this happens because of a school epoject. The students are taken to Kanto to see the differences between the regional Pokemon and their Alolan variants. In this short trip, Ash reunites with Misty and Brock, his former companions.
