Pokemon Card Conundrum
So the big news as of late is about the new Pokemon mobile game called Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go is cool, fun and an addicting game, but it reminded me of a time in my childhood when I was around the age of ten.
I had always battled against my brother with Pokemon cards and of course he would always win. My brother was fourteen and had no source of income, so he had a few tricks up his sleeves that allowed for some quite cool Pokemon cards. Basically he would walk into the warehouse and take the cards, him being 14, he didn't really care.
But one day he got fed up with Pokemon and gave all the cards to me. I loved all the Pokemon cards, but the one that I liked the most was my shiny Charizard, It was my most prized possession.
One day me and my friends decided to bring our cards to trade and battle at the end of the week.

Friday arrived and I had packed my wooden treasure chest that contained all my cards, I had sorted them all out by elemental type and had a few shiny decks. I walked into class, little before class started, to greet my friends and to show our cards off a , class began and time drifted away.
Lunch time began and I went to talk to David and Sharvesh. Sharvesh had showed up with his somewhat rare deck and continued to rave about how he had stole them from some other kids. I cared not for his comments because I thought stealing was wrong, disregarding the fact of how the cards I had were procured.
I began to play a game with David I taught him how to play but it seemed his deck was lacking elemental type cards. He told me he had put several cards in his deck, so we stop the game and look at his deck, No elemental cards, I panic my palms goes sweaty I look over at my wooden chest. I slowly creep over and open my box my eyes were blessed with the treasure of my cards but I realized one card was missing. My Charizard.
I run over to Sharvesh and grab him by the collar, all the dots were lining up, he had stolen our cards! Sharvesh had been talking about stealing cards from kids. I grab him and throw him into a pile of desks I hear a sickly crack, then thunder ran through my head.
I had just realized that I hadn't checked my pocket, I slip my hand into my pocket and feel the plastic covering of a card. The card is a shiny Charizard as can be, Sharvesh gets up and look at me with a frown a large crack is running through his front tooth.
I stare dumbfounded I had just thrown a guy into a desk over some stolen cards that didn't even get stolen. Sharvesh starts to cry, minutes later my teacher arrived and growled at us. We were standing at the front of the class near the teachers desk, within seconds, our cards were dumped on the desk. He went through every single one of our cards and checking with us which weren't ours and which were.
None of my cards had been stolen but about 10 of David's were, So Sharvesh got in trouble and we were all told never to bring our cards back to school. The following week on Monday a newsletter was sent to the parents telling everyone in the school that Pokemon cards were banned.
I never took my cards to school again, Mostly because my brother took them back. :(
