When trash meets sludge...

Pokemon TCG Team-Up is releasing at the end of January (for prerelease stores) and here's a look at a new potential combo!

Garbodor has been a decent attacker throughout the Sun & Moon era, but it may become its own archetype with the release of Team-Up!

Alolan Muk which should be in our release was originally released in Japan's Dark Order. Right now, we're going to focus on its ability:

When you play this Pokemon from your hand to evolve 1 of your Pokemon during your turn, you may look at the top 6 cards of your opponent’s deck and discard as many Item cards you find there as you like. Then, shuffle the remaining cards into your opponent’s deck.

Team this up with Garbodor's Trashalanche, and you will be accelerating its damage output without relying on your opponent actually playing their item cards. Additionally, you get to dispose of the item cards so that your opponent doesn't get any of the benefits of using them!
