POINTS Cryptocurrency Joins the Fight against Homelessness
POINTS, an innovative cross-platform cryptocurrency, has just joined the fight against homelessness by partnering with DeveloPods and their non-profit partner, Housing Humanity.
This is such an epic development for the cryptocurrency POINTS team and we are so pumped to announce it here first on Steemit.
POINTS goal is to empower humans through cryptocurrency so the opportunity to partner with DeveloPods and Housing Humanity is an ideal situation.

We have been on the shipping container industry to fight homelessness now for several years now so the chance to bring it all together with POINTS, the cryptocurrnecy traded initially on the Bitshares network, and DeveloPods is absolutely incredible.

POINTS will be used to incentivize the occupants of the DeveloPods newest build to fight homelessness in Millersburg, Ohio.
We will be implementing POINTS with the individuals living in the project to help incentive healthy life actions and behaviors.
O you go to work the days and times you are supposed to work? They are rewarded POINTS.
Completed self-improvement projects? They are rewarded with POINTS.
Complete holistic therapy and perform yoga? Yep they get POINTS for that.
Its epic what we are doing. We are gamifing the lives of people suffering from chronic homelessness in order to extinguish the fear that has held them back from progressing thus so far in their lives.
Another huge benefit of POINTS partnering with DeveloPods in their homelessness projects is that we get the opportunity to introduce a whole population of humans to cryptocurrency that might never have or been the last to find out and apply in their lives.
We are setting up the ones suffering today to not suffer tomorrow.
How freakin legendary is that?
Ending homelessness, providing financial and investment tools and resources, and even better empowering the lives of thousands, if not millions of lives for the better through crypto.
What can be better than that?

It is unusual to get real, concrete support from big business on this issue.

Wow, is that photo with warehouse containers where they want the homeless to live? It could be a neat new spin, as long as they are furnished and pleasant to live in. I like the overall idea of this initiative.

Third world country like mine, the Philippines having no decent home for the families is a number 1 problem. Instead of sleeping under the roof, they taking a nap on the street anywhere, prone to accident. The reason is, it is to expensive to own a house.
O wow and that is one of the problems we are going to attempt to solve.
We are going to work as a lender so that families can get these affordable houses built for them as soon as possible.
