Poetry Slam Challenge #3/ Beginning to End
Beginng to End
Before his Wingtips slid under the bed
Ending the day
George asked his wife for a kiss
Indicated with a wink it would be like the night they first met
Not overbearing like the slobbers of schoolboys, and
Not a cold gesture like the mortician’s handshake, but one that was
Grand, a gentle invitation that took
Time to recall being foolish
Opened the sky to let silver doves dance
Expressed a new freedom
Neon in color
Dedicated to ending just as they began
NOTE: This poem is an acrostic where the first letter of each line reads vertically to form other words.

The thing that stood out the most to me here is your use of imagery throughout the poem. You set a wonderfully pleasing tone. Great job. :)
