(POETRYDICE CHALLENGE ENTRY) VICTORS

We wield shield against dark forces in our mind.

conquering the lingering monstrosites we can find.

yet our conquest with the darkness within never yields.

slowly slowly we became knights standing aloft victorious on the battle field.

We slaughtered our hunger to weep.

building bridges and towers ontop our tears.

So we can swim triumphantly like a fish past our fears

We rose above the pain mockery and jeers.

We're winners who broke the limitation scales.

We can see joy radiating in our soul anytime we glance through the mirror.

we've put time to an eternal sleep.

So we can bask on the seashore with our feet.

Clinging to the thrills of the sands.

as we watch the stars up above the skies.
