Dreaming of clouds: My Poetry Dice Challenge 3000 [Week 22] Clouds entry
You feed your soul by taking rest in solitude
Laying down in flowering fields where daily struggles elude
Clouds roll by mimicking buoyant sheep
And speech-bubbles of dreams, from the land of sleep
If only you could magically take flight
And alienate yourself from this world of trite
To see everything from a fresher view
Then return again with a heart renewed
But as you question possibilities of escape
Remember there’s things left to appreciate
Right here in the moment, if you embrace all you’ve seen
Such as the beetles and the flowers in the field you’re in.
Truly a masterpiece! Another favorite! Thanks for joining us here at the PDC3K!
Have a nice day!
