Poetrydice Challenge #Squad3 - "Guardians Of The Timeless Realm {An Original Poetry}

Intro

In the Alpha Quadrant Xalrotta2 - a timeless abode for the entire crew of the Battle Star Marack “the Dark Marauders, Pirates, Zombies and Wizards” is held under siege in an invasion by the giant mantis, a group of alien rebels from planet Mars, almost resulting to an apocalypse when the earth surface was covered with a green sheath which prevented raindrops from getting past the earth surface to the ground.

The Aliens are in charge of the only weapon “a super power laser” strong enough to destroy the Green zone and to allow free passage for the raindrops. Extinction was closing in on Battle Star Marack crew leaving them with no choice but to launch a full attack to gain custody of the weapon.

Guardians Of The Timeless Realm

    I

We are guardians of the timeless realm,
Sworn protectors of the book of passage.
Book of passage.
Eye of the sage, great wizardry of rainbow trench.
Accolade to the dark night for its reserved destruction.
Battle.
Fiery hot like the heat from a dragon fire.
Destruction.
Swift like the tick of a heartbeat.
Soldiers of war, a squad of no freewill
Against a formidable adversary – the giant mantis.

    II

Book of passage.
A book of spells and recitations,
To invoke an army of the dead to join in their quest.
A cloaking spell for the Dark marauders,
Never to be seen till mission accomplished.
The night of battle is young but frail,
Waxing stronger is the resolve to roll a dice,
A strong resolve it is, no need to think twice.
Frail is the possibility for a success, vague is the outcome
Apocalypse is dawning, extinction nearing
The living and dead for restoration,
Whilst the giant mantis seeks domination.

    III

Arise, guardians of the realm, Arise
And restore unto the ground its lost glory,
Let the echoes of thy feet cause fright.
Send arrows into their midst and turn their screams into victory.
Arise Pirates of Battle Star Marack and infiltrate their cover.
Arise, for it’s the wish of thy master to bring forth the laser
And destroy the green zone to make way for raindrops,
Bring back the smiles and happy faces that once were.

    IV

Like a parachutist freely suspended in air,
We shall plunge forward into the enemy’s lair.
Make it shower and bring hope to its peak.
Sound the alarm like the humming of a bee to the hearing.
Dazzle the eye and mind,
Like a shooting star in the dead of the night.

    V

Timeless.
Tales of battles and happy endings.
Timeless.
We live the tale, we tell the tales over and over
Timeless.
All continues in a timeless loop bringing us back to the beginning.
Timeless.
We are who we were….guardians of the timeless realm,
Sworn protectors of the book of passage……….
