Times, I observe life differently from my teepee.
Like when rainbows stretched in the sky after a handful of rain,
Once a time when magic was the order of the day,
Time of the fairy godmothers and magical wands,
Creature of wonders, dragons were birthed
They were but a beauty and destruction in disguise.
I remember, it was long ago
When fire and brimestone rained,
And consumed humanity in an inferno of retribution.
I remember the times, times of the vigilantes
Time of the legendary archers,
Who stood against the evils in the world,
Brought monsters and oppressors to their knees.
Then a new dawn arose beyond the horizon,
New fishes were birthed in the ocean deep,
There was peace, peace came but today is all we see.
Tomorrow is an uncertainty pregnant with mysteries,
Actions has weight, they are like numbers on the faces of a rolled dice
Actions creates the future.
The past harbours many memories;
The good, bad and the ugly
But the future still linger on, formed layer upon layer
Like brick walls in a building.
