Steemit Poetry Contest #11. Search For Peace
I have travelled the earth, the sun is my witness
In search of a treasure so tender
The richest of men long for it, but never have acess
Of it the poor would dream and wonder.
The anthems sing about it
Our songs of hope, so we never despair
It might be lost, but not extinct
Till its found, we shall always revere
Tis time we sit and think out loud
Thus it has never left our side
If love is shown, then peace comes around
The peace of heart, the peace of the mind
Yet till the end of time
We'll never know peace
Forgive my rhyme
I don't mean to make you pissed
For peace only i lust
And thy hope shall never e lost
Come lets give it a shot
In our lives, lets give peace a slot
Peace is but abstract
Neither is hope a grain of sand
Mere fantansies are what attract
Many a mortal man to raise in HOPE their hand.
