This is my entry for the Steemit Poetry Contest by @terrycraft. This weeks theme was 13/Coven/Witches, so I wrote a poem about a witch and every quatrain has 13 words!

Burned at the stake,
They miscommunicate
Trials unknown, questions unasked
Very troubled pasts

Mysterious and dark
Without soul or heart
Lovers of the curse
Everything adverse

She traps you in
Assesses your sin
Tauntingly kisses
For her 13 witches
