Cold night warmed with a blanket of darkness
Silence, the pillow the night's head rested
In dozing slumbers, stars spotted black mess
Alas! The wait for morning is restless.
In the distance, a whisper echos
From needy depths, a melody bellows
To break the silence, Night's sleep rodeos
To break the silent night, sleep, adios!
A bird, a girl, a voice, a song
Harmonize my fears in five tears
A tweet, a giggle, her music, my muse
Synchronize my night, right my errs.
