Seven Day Poetry Challenge - Day #3 (SANTA BABY)
SANTA BABY
It’s the merriest season of all
Where families and friends gather around
Usually in the dining hall or the dinner table
Share stories, love, and gifts to someone so dear!
But for those who are away
Maybe in another country or maybe just by the bay
What they’re wishing is
To be with their Baby or maybe their Honey.
Waiting for a call or a letter may be
To greet them Merry Christmas
And say, “How are you, Honey?”
“I am OK Baby, I just want you beside me.”
“Oh, Honey I wish you can come home early.
This Christmas eve to opening gifts with me.”
“Baby that’s fine as long as you love me”
“I know Christmas will be merry!”
"Merry Christmas Honey!
Truly you are my Santa Baby."
Tonight will definitely be gay, though you're not here
I know you love me all the way!
