Liberty the citizens of the world craves for,
It can never be given by the government.
With different political promises they have made,
But yet they sell our Liberty in every term.
We get arrested for standing up to question their authority,
Imprisoned for speaking freely and exercising our democratic rights.

Decentralization here we are on the blockchain,
Where our privacy cannot be stolen.
Freedom to decide what is best for us and totally free
Banks can no longer dictate how we spend our funds.
Fiat will soon be a thing of the past cos this is the new age.

Off to work but I couldn't cos the raod is blocked
Security personnel all over,
I tried to question why I can't drive out but all I got was a whip,
The same security who is suppose to protect me is hitting me.
I am no longer safe in my own country.
My freedom of movement has been cut short with no security alarm.

Girls are forced to marry against their will.
With no liberty to decide who they wish to marry,
We can it tradition and ways our ancestors.
Liberty, we can only get when we come together in one voice
Tell it to the oppressor that thy way are no longer tolerated.
