Too bad some people think the line is theirs and always move to where they think you should keep it. It gets tiresome , draining ... maybe why i steer of clear of humans most of the time :)
yes when you show kindness and you are a tender hearted person, they will allow themselves to do it.
i guess you can't generalize people by the means of the current norm of the sub-culture or community you find yourself walking in or passing by but stereotypes and clichés do exist simply because of the frequency in which they occur, so everything turns in circles and spirals. Life is a venn-diagram, right not a spreadsheet in nicely boxed up , walled-off , categorizable square fields that fit in a few hashtags ...
