The Seed (A Poem)
So high in value
Quite important to life
With so much to offer
So much to like
How do you rearrange
From a drop to a flow
Of effortless lifeness
And colossal growth
Your shell is so hard
With insides so soft
Your purpose is clear
Your cause can't be lost
Even when eaten
You sometimes survive
Even if dried
You still come alive
In meals, you're so tasty
Beans, peas and all
But roll with you hasty
And torture befalls
Yes, seeds are awesome
Quite an important gift
But oh so distasteful
Should you get a whiff
Of a little seed burning
In your ganja spliff.
