A Poem About Longing

Hey Steemit! This is my first ever post here. So, I thought that I should share a poem that I wrote and recited in Dumbledore's voice.

"Longing"
Poetry wouldn't be the same
If it were ours that we longed for

Strokes of brush would trace only lines and boxes
If it were our that we longed for

Songs of rebels would turn into Hums and thumps
If it were ours that we longed for

All would make sense if only we knew
It is longing that we long for
