    I enjoyed this poem. Well done with the specific images throughout. The whiskers in first line so weird on a fish. Then the comparison to a land cat and then the deep dive for its character in the water. Almost like how land cats hunt and pounce.

    Thanks @jocelynlily! I was curious why it was called a catfish. I just knew that it dives at the bottom to eat.
