Why churching?

I am not in the church,

To show some fashion and fad,

To show that i have what it takes,

Or to take to dancing and dieting.

I am not in the church,

To spray brand new banknotes,

To clinch some venturesome contracts,

Or to bargain for spouse selection.

I am in the church,

To feed on God's spiritual dish,

And gain a dividend of his blessings,

To plead God for more pardon,

And to pay him my appreciation,

That my spoons are not holidaying.

I am in the church,

To mirror my self-image,

If i meet the stated requisites,

To enter his heavenly kingdom,

For no one knows,

The hour he will come like a mighty rushing wind!!
