Poem: Vampire Masquerade
Author's notes:
1. The following poem is part of a four poems series named "Vampire Masquerade", which is published in Spanish language this year; the first part was published in March, 2019. I honestly thought that I'd translated it, but it resulted that I didn't, at least for what the search engine showed it.
2. The series was inspired in Peter Gundry's Vampire Masquerade set of melodies, which I invite you to listen in Youtube while you're reading the set of poems.
So, here is the first part; I hope you enjoy it!

In winter's long night
vampires are reunited
in a golden and silver ball
with multicolored masks
hiding their legendary bloodthirstiness.
.-.-.
Their human victims
are invited
with promises of eternal love and life,
without knowing the letal destiny
that patiently awaits for them.
.-.-.
When the sun rises,
the victims dissapear
from the face of earth
and their captors triumphantly rise
with their mouths full of blood.
