Behind The Bookstore (Original Poem):
As you enter you are surrounded by pages of worldly picture painted possibilities
You inhale the scents of fresh paper as you fold each page sideways
To feel the variations of smooth textures of compiled pages stained with ink markings which make perfect sense to your senses
Pages which were once trees thriving skyward, with their roots imbedded in the ground
Now their roots are imbedded in our minds and our imaginations
For we have the power, the power to spread these stories like roots beneath the surface which extend for metres unknown
It is a secret passageway which exists only to those who have the privilege of opening these pages and only those who absorb their information know
Run your fingers with your eyes across each marking on the page to make sense of each word which is strung together like a conductor who strings together an orchestral masterpiece
Transporting yourself into dimensions unknown, which seem so familiar you could have sworn you have been there before
Concentration on your imagination, will lead to never-ending fascination
There’s a book waiting to be opened, a ship yet to be sailed, anchored at the shore of your local bookstore.
