I don't put up walls to keep you out or hurt you
I put them up to keep the monsters in and protect you
You don't have to break them down to get to me
Your mere presence scares the hell outta me
I don't put up walls to remain difficult
I put them up to get my pieces together so when you eventually see me
...at least there's something worth staying for
I don't put walls to feign hard to get or play the I'm messed up game
I am messed up but that doesn't mean I should daint you with it
All in all I put up walls to keep you safe from a creature like me.
