Controlling and manipulating
Politicians
Judges
Bishops
King and Queen
Checkmate
Shaping society with a twisted philosophy
of a hateful lust to dominate
Fooling the subjects into a mindless idolatry
with a love to hate
Fabricated fame
Superstars
with a made-up name
Cloned celebrities
in or out of Wonderbra's
Fishing for the admiration
or the flashiest fastest cars
to drive their Ego from A to B
Home alone or hotel bars
Acting happy for others to see
Avoiding to ask the questions
they really should
Prone to suggestions
There's so much we've all misunderstood
from what we were taught
by those that sold and bought
their pride to display in a glass jar
to hold that thought
and a bigger house to show how far
they travelled from the womb
From the first burst bubble
Bust to boom
Real to fake
Trying to justify the extra room
that you want to take
into your wooden box tomb.
