Sing On [Original Poem]
I wrote this about 14 years ago...pulling it out and dusting off because I think it will resonate for a new friend...
The singing won't stop.
(Not that I want it to,
really.)
But I find it funny
That it just won't stop.
I ask myself, "Why?"
And without realizing
I reply,
"Because I love him."
And that always makes me laugh.
It's very different now
Than the way it was, or not
Before
And it is so refreshing
That I do not want it to end.
It tickles my soul,
Brightens my eyes,
And such...
So I have this giddy feeling
Abounding in my life.
"Sing on!" I tell myself,
One part to another.
"Sing on!"
Enjoy these fantastic moments -
Who knows how long they'll last?
