Whether in or out
Yet you stumble on the knowing
Dammed with fear of doubt

And in your tragic innocence
You’re blind to what you hold
The heart of love’s magnificence
Brings far more wealth than gold

The essence of your longing
(Oh irony’s sweet twist!)
You hunger for belonging
Yet still, you will resist.

But time wears down the walls
Like oceans through the ages
And soon you’ll free the falls
Wielding magic as the mages
