Revelation

My dawn came slowly;
It broke within the meaning of my being.
What splendor, infinite and holy
Could have wrought the Beauty I am seeing?

What is fulfillment?
Does this vibrant joy reveal in vain?
Or must the thoughts of Time repent
And wrest back wisdom born in pain?

Certainty must now be mine,
For I have found my life's epitome.
My heart, my soul, no more repine,
Enriched beyond all truth -- beyond eternity!
