Just like that.
You had been so strong
As strong as a lion,
Brave and courageous like the king of animals
How could you just fall
Like a pack of cards?
You were so powerful,
You went through the grueling training of a soldier
With all the hazards
Yet you did not fall.
You were so courageous,
Even in the face of tyranny,
You stood strong,
Even in the face of the greatest challenges.
So why did you fall?
How could you yielded yourself
To this wicked and insidious Monster...?
That ate through your system,
Unnoticed, Unnoticed,
And ate through your organs,
Especially your kidneys,
Which failed inevitably, irretrievably...!
Beautiful and so powerful and real.
I really felt it and now it is stuck in my head.
How can you fall? So why did you fall? Wow. Very touching.
Reading this, it made me realize that we all fall in life, that is just part of learning, but we can't stay there, we have to get back up and keep on living and learning and getting stronger and wiser.
