It irks you when you see your self
helpless, humiliated, heartbroken.
You've abandoned relationships, ditched friends —
because no one knows you, inside.
And you moved with inhibitions,
with flaws so visible,
with struggles and inclinations —
you could not even mention.
Just because you have this notion,
that you seemed different, inimitable.
Oh, you craved to be alone —
because you've got a point more than questions!
Then numbness left for a season,
darkness died in the light.
Perhaps, this only me-ish drive wasn't yours at all —
so you spoke your thoughts, you shared your feelings.
That you're not the naive person anymore.
You've grown, you've changed,
but your being would live on —
because love.... would never leave.... YOU.■
