Leaving a stain
Of a memory to return
A scar that will forever burn
Doesn't feel right
Lonely again come daylight
No relief in sight
Wanted to be free
Wasn't meant to be
I was just a make do
Til they came along
Then you were gone
Whiskey'll pull me through
