Unknowing

Take this from me
The feeling that used to be
Purged from deep within
The endless feeling
Of unforgiving sin

Cleanse my soul
Make me whole
Allow me to be
To grow 'til I'm old
I've done many things some say are bold
I had reasons for this I can't divulge

Visions of greater places never seen
Like the very thin line that lies between
The almighty father and the devil unclean
For this is my vision
No-one else can listen
To the voices in my mind
My soul telling me I'm unwhole

Maybe I'm crazy, disillusioned or mad
Soon in time I'll find the truth
