Antique Store Front (a poem): Take Me Home
The sidewalks are cluttered
Pitter pattered with old memories
What was once a treasure
Is now lost on the side of the road
How did it get there
How will it find a new home
I dont know how I can take it home (when I dont even have one)
These objects reminiscent of myself
I cant take it any longer
My heart might skip a beat
Like the record playing in the background
Please take me home
I think this is the strongest piece, so far...
