Renga: Collaborative Poetry at The Writers' Block

Starting today, we have an exciting new collaborative poetry activity happening at The Writers’ Block. This is a chance for everyone to work on a long form, collaborative poem. At each step everyone who would like to is free to post a submission for the next verse/stanza right in the #haikai-no-renga channel.

After this there will be a 24 hours voting period when everyone will pick their favourite by giving their choice an emoji. At the end of the voting period, the verse with the most votes will be added to the poem.

Once completed, the entire poem will be posted on steemit and all the money it makes will be given to charity.

The schedule will be:

Monday: submission
Tuesday: voting
Wednesday: submission
Thursday: voting
Friday: submission
Saturday: voting
Sunday: day off

This is a great chance for everyone to have some fun and get involved, even if poetry isn’t generally your thing.
