Hungry

Myles hears a knock on the door

He ignores it until it happens once more

"Oh that horrid sound i abore"

You see it it was not the front door

It was from the basement down one floor

"Please oh please go away" he prayed

But the knocking stayed and stayed

Growing louder and louder myles had nothing to do but cower

"No" he thought "This time i have the power"

Armed with a bat he gave the door a tap

"Whatever it is im gonna give him a whack"

Reaching for the door

He wakes up to that stupid "Tap tap" in confusion on his floor

"Hey wheres my bat and whats up with the door"

An arm reaches out and grasps for him

Then appears the big toothy grin

Grasping and pulling to get him in

Myles gives up " i cant do it i cant win"

Down down down

Darkness all around

Then in the blink of an eye

The house number changes

1444 to 1445

Put up for sale

The new owners think they got a steal

Little did they know they're just the next meal
