Hidden deep within.
Is our ability to give in.
To every temptation.
That defies mentation.
We curse tirelessly.
Divide others shamelessly.
Who are we to deny.
The plain truth with a sigh.
We the modern witches.
Have burnt all bridges.
Competition so fierce.
Making humanity scarce.
We nurture hate and war.
As greed controls our core.
Feeding the poor is a task.
Smiling requires a mask.
Spreading love is hawked.
None of us wants flawed.
We hunt for perfection.
Yet it's not our reflection.
Heal the world we chant.
Knowing too well we rant.
About how it isn't our fault.
We brought love to a halt.
