HIDDEN

In silence, many bleed.

Wounded hidden under pride.

Pain masked with plastic smiles keeps pleading.

Suffocating behind the elegance of make up.

Lonely souls locked away from the world.

As their owners walk about this universe.

Replacing others with materialistic bliss.

Avoiding connections and where they lead.

Burying themselves in work and screens.

The busier they look the better.

Broken trust moved in with them.

Forcing them to dive back inwards.

Concluding all hope is lost.

And finally freezing their emotions.
