Let me make this veil a fort
And make its gates too hard to break
A place of your own to call a home
Not as fragile as the walls you made
They stood there and you felt alone
Their words were shells and blades
A day that sprung way too soon
Just another big smile to fake

Your realms were deep and stairs were steep
For someone to break in, it would take a while
A heart that burns like fire with every beat
A wound that opens and closes all the time
