Coquetry Fair - (original poem)
The voice in her purse
whispers for cosmetic brakes
Break your stride
Never mind
Your roses outlast her love
At the fair, pockets flare
Place your bets on a carousel horse
Giddy-up
Don your gitch
Exchange rings at the kissing booth
Welcome to Coquetry Fair
Two winks for one teacup ride
Don't bruise your heart on her thigh
Call her your hummingbird just for the night
Love's on a hook, so savour the bite
Have fun at Coquetry Fair
Black, pink, and blue body paint
Don't think too hard as you dance
Her face will fade like the stamp on your hand
Her heart strikes twelve and the fairytale ends
