Hello everyone!
This is my entry in @terrycraft's Steemit Poetry Contest 15

(Pardon me if I drew nightmare on a tissue paper. Lol)

It was dark when I grasped my consciousness.
I tried to get up but I could not.
There was this atypical feeling of uneasiness.
Someone was on top of me, it was black, it was heavy...it was human not!

I fought my body.
I needed to be calm and steady.
I was nervous, I was sweating.
I was begging, I was shouting.

Suddenly, the thing grew bigger.
It was hideous and eager.
"PRAY!" said someone I could not remember.
I prayed, opened my eyes, and everything turned whiter.
